This 2000 TVR Chimaera 4.5 is finished in Silver Stardust over a cream leather interior with dark carpets and a walnut dashboard. Showing 51,290 miles, its 4.5-litre V8 is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The car was kept by its last owner for 12 years. It is now offered by Open Air Imports in Wotton-under-Edge, England, with a full service history and a 21-photo gallery, and will be supplied with a fresh MOT and service.

The seller reports that the paint is excellent with just a few minor chips, the chassis is superb, and the interior and dashboard show little sign of wear. The car has power-assisted steering and carries a TVR registration plate.

Specialists Xworks looked after the car through the last ownership. The outriggers were replaced two years ago for longevity, and in 2025 Xworks carried out a full 12,000-mile service and checked the cam for wear, which was given a clean bill of health; 1,100 miles have been covered since. Recent work also includes a refurbished steering rack, new tyres, an upgraded alarm with boot release, new Ben Lang dampers and new injectors.

The Chimaera was TVR's best-selling model of the 1990s, and the 4.5 was the rarer, stronger-hearted version. Twelve years with one owner and continuous specialist care is the history buyers look for.
