This 1998 TVR Chimaera 5.0 is finished in Halcyon Atlantis Breese over a turquoise leather interior with grey carpets. Showing 38,426 miles, its 5.0-litre V8 is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. It is now offered by Open Air Imports in Wotton-under-Edge, England, with a 21-photo gallery. It will be supplied with a fresh 6,000-mile service and its MOT runs to 9 February 2027.

The seller reports a few stone chips and that the driver's side wing mirror needs respraying, which is reflected in the asking price, and describes the chassis as very good with just minor powder-coat flake in the usual places. The car has power-assisted steering.

Four thousand miles ago the engine was fully rebuilt by TVR Power with an MBE engine management system, work the seller values at £16,000 and reports is still under warranty. The previous owner then drove the car 4,000 miles across Europe, most recently driving it from Morocco, before emigrating; the seller notes the car is well shaken down after limited use in earlier years.

The 5.0 was the flagship Chimaera, and low mileage with a recent, warranted engine rebuild is a strong combination.
