This 1998 Morgan Plus 4 is an early long-door example finished in Connaught Green over stone leather, showing 40,070 miles. Its Rover 2.0-litre T16 engine is paired with the later R380 five-speed manual gearbox. It is now offered by Open Air Imports in Cranfield, England, with an 18-photo gallery.

The Connaught Green paintwork is set off by green painted wire wheels, spot lamps and a badge bar, with a green mohair hood, a green PVC tonneau and a black PVC hood bag. A luggage rack sits over the rear-mounted spare, and the specification includes SSL front suspension, a galvanised chassis, a scuttle roll bar and a stainless exhaust.

The stone leather cabin is piped in green and carries a Moto-Lita steering wheel, a radio/CD player, a clock, round door mirrors and headrests, with stainless door check straps and hood swivel pins.

The Rover T16 engine is rated at 134 bhp in this installation. The seller reports the car has just had a full service including all fluids, wheel cylinders, a battery and an alternator, and that it comes with an extensive history folder. A documented speedometer change was carried out at 8,900 miles; the total mileage is 40,070.

The Plus 4 has been Morgan's core model since 1950. The Rover-engined cars, built from 1986 to 2000, sit on the wider Plus 8 chassis, and the long-door body gives easier access, particularly with the hood up.
