  • This 1995 Volkswagen Polo GLX is finished in black over a Confetti-pattern interior and shows 32,171 miles on Cupra-sourced instrument clocks. Originally delivered as a GLX model, this example has been professionally converted approximately 8–10 years ago to run an AYP-code 1.8-liter turbocharged engine paired with the correct manual gearbox, mounts, and supporting components. The installation is described as comprehensive, retaining the proper exhaust routing through to the catalytic converter and incorporating all necessary hardware to create a well-integrated performance build. The car is not equipped with air conditioning.
    The exterior was refinished in black at some point in its life, and the respray is reported to have been completed to a high standard, with evidence of the color change visible only beneath the boot floor carpet. The car sits on 15-inch Wolfrace alloy wheels with good tires and features a fiberglass aftermarket front bumper, which shows some corner damage and stone chips. Spax adjustable suspension with height and damping control has been installed along with upgraded front and rear anti-roll bars, giving the car a purposeful stance. Additional braking upgrades include large drilled front discs and a rear GTI axle with disc brakes. The headliner is sagging, and the sunroof seal allows some moisture ingress; this can be addressed prior to sale if requested. A battery relocation to the boot has been carried out, and Cupra clocks currently display 32,171 miles. MOT records align with this figure, though additional documentation is being sought to determine whether the mileage reflects the chassis at the time of conversion or was reset to correspond with the engine and instrument change.
