  • This 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is an Italian-market example finished in Polar Silver over a Blu Notte (night blue) leather interior with a matching blue soft top, showing 156,000 km. The 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-six is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. Sold new in late 1995 by Porsche dealer Bonaldi, it comes with its service book and dozens of invoices, and is now offered by Open Air Imports with a 30-photo gallery.

The Polar Silver paint presents straight and even, and the seller discloses no body or paint flaws. The blue soft top is a new genuine Porsche unit — roughly a 2,800 EUR part — fitted during the recent mechanical restoration. The car rides on its factory-style wheels shod with Pirelli N-rated tires.

Inside, the night-blue leather covers the seats and trim, and the seller describes the cabin as well kept. Equipment details beyond the leather upholstery and soft top were not specified by the dealer.

The 3.6-liter M64 air-cooled flat-six is rated at 272 CV (268 hp). Because of the oil leaks these engines are known for, the dealer carried out a complete mechanical restoration rather than a patch-up: the soft top, steering rack ends, steering box and power-steering pump overhaul, alternator, all belts, fan sensors, oil and filters, spark plugs, coils, clutch release fork with shaft and needle bearings, fan resistor, all engine seals, genuine Porsche crank, main and secondary-shaft bearings, timing guides, and a nearly-new clutch. The seller reports the car needs nothing — in his words, an example for someone looking for a perfect car that requires no intervention. The last owner bought the car in 2007 from a friend who had owned it since 2000. The restoration work is valued at over 20,000 EUR and is recorded in Porsche systems.

The 993 was the last air-cooled 911, built from 1994 to 1998. The Carrera 4 Cabriolet paired the final air-cooled silhouette with open-air driving and all-weather traction — the only all-wheel-drive cabriolet in the 993 range, and a configuration Porsche has not repeated since.
