This 1995 Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG is finished in red over a black leather interior, showing 165,000 miles. A US-market car, it is the first production collaboration between AMG and Mercedes-Benz, built before the merger. It is offered in Teramo, Italy, with a 26-photo gallery.

The hand-built 3.6-litre M104 straight-six is rated at 280 hp and is paired with an AMG-calibrated automatic gearbox. Around 5,200 C36s were built in total, and US-specification left-hand-drive cars are a fraction of that. Equipment includes the AMG body kit, 17-inch wheels, sports suspension, an electric sunroof and climate control.

The car has recently had bodywork touch-ups followed by a professional polish, and the paint now presents deep and glossy. A full service has been performed, new brakes fitted and the automatic transmission flushed; the seller reports the engine pulls hard and the gearbox shifts smoothly in all gears. The interior is in very good order, with AMG sports seats, intact burl trim and everything working, including the windows, climate control and electric seats.

The car carries its US title plus all documents needed for Italian or European registration, and at thirty years old it qualifies for historic-vehicle benefits in Italy. The C36 started the modern AMG saloon line, and it remains the most accessible of the hand-built cars.
