This 1995 Bentley Continental S is a left-hand-drive example finished in Diamond Blue Silver over a Parchment Hide interior, showing 45,337 km. The 6.75-liter turbocharged V8 drives the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. The seller notes this is car number 5 of 39 Continental S examples built in total, of which 18 were left-hand drive. Delivered new in Monte Carlo and brought to Italy in 2006, it has had three owners since arriving in Italy. It is now offered by Open Air Imports with the Bentley Full Specification Details Report and a 30-photo gallery.
The Diamond Blue Silver paintwork is presented without a specific flaw disclosure on the seller's page. The Continental S carried the Continental R coupe body, the first Bentley with a body design unique to the marque since the 1960s, in a higher-performance specification.
The interior is trimmed in Connolly Parchment Hide with burr walnut veneer and lambswool carpets. Equipment includes electrically adjustable seats and automatic climate control.
The 6,753 cc turbocharged V8 uses a Garrett turbocharger with a liquid-cooled intercooler and a revised intake system, rated at 299 kW. The seller reports a top speed of about 255 km/h and 0-100 km/h in about 6.1 seconds. The seller also reports that the previous owner bought the car from a Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist who carried out a full service in 2021 at 44,348 km, and that the car has covered roughly 1,000 km since.
The Continental S was introduced in 1995 as a limited, higher-output development of the Continental R, built largely by hand at Crewe for a small number of buyers. With 39 cars built in total, it ranks among the rarest Bentley coupes of the 1990s.
