  • This 1994 BMW E36 began life as a 318is before undergoing a comprehensive and meticulously executed transformation into a full S50B32-powered M3–spec machine. Finished in Arktiksilber Metallic over a black interior, the car now features a 3.2-liter S50 engine producing 321 horsepower, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The build was completed with OEM components down to the last bolt, with particular attention paid to authenticity, mechanical integrity, and overall presentation. Air conditioning is equipped and fully functional, supported by a new OEM AC compressor installed during the mechanical restoration.
The heart of the car is a rebuilt S50B32 fitted with forged internals and enhanced further by a turbocharger system installed by a well-known and reputable BMW tuning shop in Greece. The VANOS system has been rebuilt, and the drivetrain benefits from a fully refreshed transmission featuring new performance ZF components. Power is sent through a 5-speed manual gearbox that shifts cleanly, supported by recent service and upgrades throughout. A full custom exhaust system was fabricated for the build, adding to the car’s performance character while maintaining a refined tone appropriate for an OEM-plus presentation.
The suspension is handled by Bilstein components at all four corners, providing improved handling while retaining street-friendly manners. Braking is supplied by new M3-spec hardware, and the car rides on fresh tires. Nearly every exterior and interior part—including trim pieces, mirrors, plastic components, and even the M3 green-tinted windshield—was sourced new and original from BMW, contributing to its exceptionally clean and cohesive appearance.
Inside, the black cabin remains in immaculate condition, reflecting the level of care evident throughout the build. The car shows approximately 172,000 km, and its overall presentation suggests both careful use and high-quality workmanship. The combination of OEM M3 authenticity, extensive mechanical renewal, and the professionally executed turbocharged S50 conversion makes this E36 a standout example for enthusiasts seeking a unique but factory-faithful build.
