This 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is finished in Polar Silver over a beige interior, showing 165,400 km. The 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-six is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and all-wheel drive. The car was delivered new in Switzerland and imported into Italy in 2000 by its most recent owner, who kept it for the following 26 years. The seller presents it in the later 964 specification, with enlarged brakes and a number of upgrades over the earlier cars, and it is accompanied by its service book. It is now offered by Open Air Imports with a 30-photo gallery.
The Polar Silver paintwork carries some parking marks, which the seller discloses; the seller reports that the car has never been accident-damaged. It rides on new 17-inch wheels fitted with Michelin tires carrying Porsche homologation, installed as part of the car's recent recommissioning.
Inside, the beige interior is equipped with automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, a rear wiper, a supplementary amplifier and a CD radio. The seller reports that everything works as it should, including the air conditioning.
The 3.6-liter M64 air-cooled flat-six is rated at 250 hp. After a period in storage, the seller carried out a recommissioning program: a major service with all fluids replaced, including the differential and gearbox oil, new spark plugs, new front and rear brake discs with new pads, new front anti-roll bar drop links on both sides, new fan, alternator and air-conditioning compressor belts, and new valve-cover, timing-case and oil pressure and temperature sensor gaskets. The seller reports the most recent service was carried out in October 2026.
The 964, built from 1989 to 1994, was the first 911 offered with all-wheel drive, the Carrera 4 pairing the air-cooled flat-six with four-wheel traction and coil-spring suspension in place of the torsion bars of earlier cars. A Swiss-delivered example kept by one owner for 26 years is seldom found.
