  • This 1992 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 is one of 87 examples of the limited 'Collection' series built for the Swiss market between March and December 1992, finished in Gris Graphite metallic over a black leather interior and showing 184,800 km. The 1,905 cc four-cylinder is rated at 122 hp and is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The seller reports matching numbers supported by a Peugeot certificate of authenticity, a Peugeot-network service history dating to 1992, and two owners from new. It is now offered by Open Air Imports with a 15-photo gallery.

The Gris Graphite paint carries a ceramic-coated finish the seller describes as new, and the car rides on the series-specific Gutmann alloy wheels in a 195 section; the seller notes the original Speedline wheels can be fitted instead. A panoramic sunroof and SIEM long-range lamps are fitted, and the headlights, taillights, and monogram badges are reported new.

Inside, full black leather bucket seats with red stitching are paired with a leather sport steering wheel and a leather gear knob and gaiter. Electric windows and power steering are fitted. The car has no air conditioning and no ABS, as delivered for its market.

The seller reports an extensive recent mechanical program: cylinder head gasket and all top-end seals with the head tested and surfaced, valve stem seals, timing belt and water pump, a clutch replaced at 160,000 km, a rear axle renovated at 160,000 km, new shock absorbers, springs and top mounts, new steering links and ball joints, a new anti-roll bar link, new rear brake hoses, a new center exhaust and silencer, a new starter motor, battery, fuel pump, four injectors, ignition coils and leads, spark plugs, lambda sensor, crankshaft sensor, and pressure regulator, plus an engine oil and filter change. The 184,800 km showing is high for the model and is stated plainly; the work listed is the seller's answer to it. The car is sold serviced with a minimum 12-month warranty, with service invoices, its French registration, and a current contrôle technique.

The 205 GTI defined the European hot hatch, and the Swiss 'Collection' series — a sister edition to the Magic and Monte Carlo Grand Prix cars, trimmed in leather and fitted with Gutmann wheels — is among its rarest factory variants at 87 cars. Few survive with documented histories from new.
