  • This 1984 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in yellow over a black leather interior, showing 77,000 miles. A first-year C4 with the L83 Cross-Fire injection V8, it was imported into Italy from the United States in 1998 and has been with the current owner since 2020. It is now offered by Open Air Imports with a 30-photo gallery.

The seller describes the bodywork and interior as impeccable, and reports extensive mechanical and bodywork supported by complete photographic documentation of the work and invoices totalling over 15,000 euros for work and parts. The removable targa roof panel is fitted, and the car was registered with ASI in 2005.

The black leather cabin is equipped with air conditioning, electric windows, mirrors and seats, central locking and a stereo, per the seller's specification.

The 5,737 cc L83 V8 uses Cross-Fire throttle-body injection and was rated at 205 hp when new, paired with an automatic transmission. The seller reports that the mechanics are effectively still running in following the mechanical work completed in 2021, with only 7,000 miles covered since, and that new Bilstein dampers have recently been fitted by a suspension specialist. The car is regularly inspected, according to the seller, who discloses no specific defects beyond the standard vintage-car terms, sold as seen consistent with age and mileage.

The C4 replaced the long-running C3 in 1984 with a new chassis, a drag coefficient focus, and the Cross-Fire L83 as the launch engine, replaced by the tuned-port L98 a year later. First-year cars with the Cross-Fire system, documented restoration work and an Italian historic registration are a small subset of surviving C4s.
