This 1967 Citroen DS19 Pallas is finished in AC108 Gris Palladium over a Rouge cloth interior, showing 97,826 km. French-delivered and first registered on 2 January 1967, the car has been fully restored, and its rebuilt 2.1-liter engine is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. It is now offered by Open Air Imports with a 30-photo gallery.
Built in November 1966 at the Quai de Javel factory in Paris, the car was stripped and restored by DS specialists in Bavaria. All body panels were checked and repaired before a new coat of Gris Palladium was applied, and the car was reassembled with new and NOS parts: new mouldings, new taillights, re-chromed headlight rings, new indicators and new gaskets throughout. The steel wheels were painted in the correct color, the Pallas hubcaps polished and new tires fitted.
The interior was completely reupholstered, with the seats, rear seat and door panels recovered in the correct Rouge cloth, including the Pallas-specific headrests and armrests. The carpets were replaced and the headliner is new, and the second-series dashboard is correct for the car.
The hydraulics were rebuilt throughout, running the green LHM fluid that late 1966 and 1967 cars received, with new suspension spheres, brake hoses and boots. The engine is a rebuilt DS21 2.1-liter unit rated at 115 hp, with new pistons and sleeves, a rebuilt clutch, starter, water pump, fuel pump, radiator and carburetor, and a 123 ignition. The seller reports everything on the car works and it has been tested and checked.
The 1967 model year is the one DS collectors look for: the improved LHM hydraulics of the later cars with the classic second-series body and interior. In Pallas specification, with the luxury trim, it is the most sought-after version of the DS19.
